El former US president and Republican candidate Donald Trump (2017-2021) used this Monday X to boost his election campaign with a live conversation with the tycoon Elon Musk which allowed him to deepen his criticism of the Democrats and the situation in the country.

The meeting, which had generated great expectation, began about 45 minutes late. Musk alleged that its platform appeared to have suffered a denial of service attack, known as DDOS, and that they were working to contain it.

“It appears that a massive DDOS attack (sending multiple requests to exceed the capacity of a website) has occurred against X. We are working to stop it,” wrote the head of the platform, formerly known as Twitter.

During his broadcast on the platform, which had him banned for almost two years after the assault on the Capitol in January 2021, the former US president defended his relationship with foreign leaders such as the Russian Vladimir Putin, the North Korean Kim Jong-un or Chinese Xi Jinping, ensuring that getting along with them “is good.”

“Getting along with them is a good thing, not a bad thing,” he told tycoon Elon Musk, while he was pleased to meet these leaders.

“I know every one of them. And let me tell you, people will say 'Oh, this is terrible.' I don't say anything good or bad. They are at the top of their game, they are tough, they are smart and they are going to protect their country. They probably love their country. It’s just a different form of love, but they are going to protect it,” she noted.

The Republican candidate took the opportunity to insist on his praise for the Argentine president Javier Milei. “He's doing a great job”. Trump referred to the motto MAGA (Make Argentina Great Again), which was a trend on the social network this Monday night, and highlighted that Milei is a great follower of the ideas that that phrase embodies. “She campaigned for her with MAGA and took it to the extreme,” he highlighted.

Trump also had some words regarding the situation of the illegal migrants U.S..

“Illegal immigration saved my life,” said the tycoon, referring to the attack in which he was injured in the ear last year. July 13th.
