The elimination of Ismail Haniyeh: a significant but not decisive event

The elimination of the chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, is undoubtedly a significant event.

Haniyeh has led the organization since 2017, when he was elected president, and again in 2021, after being re-elected.

It is still too early to determine how his death will affect the war and Hamas as an organization, but the timing in the midst of the war and following the elimination of high-ranking Hezbollah officer Fuad Shukr in Lebanon, as well as the second in command Haniyeh, Saleh al Arouri, several months ago could have a cumulative effect.

It must be remembered that Haniyeh was never number one in the organization.

In the short history of Hamas, there has never been anyone whose status has been recognized and accepted above all others, except Ahmed Yassin.

This also shows the nature of the organization and perhaps the secret of its survival: having a very broad popular base and making cardinal decisions by consensus and shared responsibility.

Hamas will quickly find a replacement for Haniyeh and continue its path adapting to the needs of the moment.

It is worth noting that after Yassin's elimination, there was a turn that led to Hamas's participation in the 2006 elections, in contrast to its opposition to participating in the 1996 elections.

The question is whether after ten months of bloody war, can such an event generate a new way of thinking in Hamas?

It is still too early to tell, and any assessment of this before the release of the hostages and the end of the war would be premature.

But as mentioned, the cumulative effect that can influence Israel in a positive direction also matters.

As far as Iran is concerned, the elimination of Haniyeh It reveals his weaknesses as a sponsor, incapable of protecting the allies he hosts, his intelligence vulnerabilities and his great arrogance.

  1. Hamas is the Palestinian people in itself, its components are the same people, their children, families and so on, that is why the war is difficult and how in private homes they hide, kill and keep the corpses of Israelis, so Hamas is all the Palestinians.

According to the copilot's investigation, we tell 007 that the rotten lodges and secret societies are angry that they are investigated for being stateless and traitors and murderers...

In the absence of Ismail Hamiya:
How are the leaders of the Hamas terrorist group chosen?

Hamas leaders are elected through an internal process that involves both its political wing and its military wing. Here are some key points on how they are chosen:

Shura Council: Hamas has a Shura Council, which is a consultative and decision-making body. This council is made up of leaders from different levels and regions, and is responsible for electing the main leaders of the group.

Internal Elections: Shura Council members participate in internal elections to select leaders. These elections are not public and are carried out in secret to protect the identity of the participants and avoid reprisals.

Military and Political Leadership: Hamas has leaders in both its political wing and its military wing. For example, Ismail Haniya is one of the best-known political leaders, while Yahya al-Sinwar is a prominent military leader in Gaza.

Re-election and Mandates: Leaders can be re-elected. For example, Ismail Haniya (deceased) was elected leader in 2017 and re-elected in 20214.
This process allows Hamas to maintain a relatively stable and protected leadership structure, despite constant threats and attacks.

How will Iran intervene in this election of Hamas leaders?

Iran has significant influence in Hamas, but does not intervene directly in the election of its leaders. Here are some key points about how Iran influences Hamas:

Financial and Military Support: Iran provides financial and military support to Hamas, strengthening its position within the organization and in the region

This support includes the supply of weapons and military training.

Strategic Alliances: The relationship between Hamas and Iran is based on a mainly religious fundamentalist strategic alliance against Israel.

This alliance has grown stronger over the years, especially after Hamas aligned itself more closely with Iran and its partners, such as Hezbolla and other Middle Eastern terrorist groups.

Political Influence: Although Iran does not directly elect Hamas leaders, its support can influence the group's internal decisions. Hamas leaders often maintain close contacts with the Iranian leadership, as seen in meetings between Hamas leaders and senior Iranian officials.

    Finally, Iran's decisions are followed.
For example, we have just seen it with the visit to Lebanon of the newly appointed president of Iran with the forces of Hezbolla, to outline the line of action of attacks presented against Iran.

Protection and Refuge: Some Hamas leaders have found "very limited" refuge in Iran and other allied countries, supposedly allowing them to operate more safely and continue their political and military activities from fundamentalist terrorism.

In short, although Iran does not directly participate in the election of Hamas leaders, its support and strategic alliance have a significant impact on the group's structure and decisions.

The lodges and secret societies of Iran give the word regarding the appointment of leaders and orders of action against Israel.

The lodge leaders maintain the original fundamentalism implanted through the Koran modified by the Vatican through the lodge leaders designated by the Vatican for that purpose. The same worldwide Vatican slogan is followed: “With one hand evangelizing and with the other giving.”

It doesn't matter if you believe in San buto, sandwich or San panuncio, or you put pins in a rag monkey...

May God bless, protect, strengthen and give wisdom to Israel and Mexico always…..!!!

  3. Note: should say against Israel.
