NO TITLE
Ofra Zimbalista (1939 – 2014) is a successful Israeli artist whose work has been presented not only in exhibitions but also in public spaces in Israel and around the world. Her sculptures, which are aimed at the general public, and not just at art connoisseurs, will remain engraved in the collective memory. Zimbalista’s greatness, apart from the creation of the sculptures themselves, lies in their positioning and placement in space through which she has managed to create an interesting choreography. Spatial thinking, precise planning of the placement of each and every figure, are consistent in her creation, whether the sculptures were designed for permanent or temporary placement.
This exhibition presents a wide variety of works, which distinguish the dynamism of Ofra's work, and combine different techniques, diverse materials and illustrate her artistic journey over the years. In addition to the rotating exhibitions,
Musical performances will take place with an emphasis on connections between artists from different disciplines. The gallery is located on Shivat Zion Street, next to the Shapira and Neve Shanan neighborhood and will therefore also host music from Eritrea, Sudan and other countries. It has different spaces: an open sculpture garden, exhibition spaces and a video room. The gallery was founded on the initiative of the musician Chen Zimbalista, founder of the Music Factory Association and the Voice of Peace.

Tania Vinokur is an international artist who currently represents Israel on the world's most important stages. These days she continues to work as a volunteer in shows for evacuees who are still staying in hotels and underprivileged communities. She confesses that the last year has also been hectic on a personal level: at the beginning of the year, her eldest son was diagnosed with autism and during the first half of the year she had to reduce her work. During this period she returned to playing old material that had not been released, including the new song, the first one she wrote in Hebrew. During a career spanning 20 years, Tania wrote in different languages (English, Spanish), this song marks the basis of a whole project of new songs that she wrote and composed in Hebrew and which will be released as a mini album in the coming months. Now she is returning to concerts with her band and after five years also to a concert in Tel Aviv where she will combine styles in a unique way.
Let us remember that she has been playing music since she was 6 years old, she became famous for her performances at Mayumana, with which she appeared in Israel and abroad, and she also performs continuously with high-level and famous artists. Her flamenco creation is inspired by elements of various styles that she herself collected traveling the world, and arise from gypsy music, through spirituals and jazz, to Latin rhythms. A very attractive production because this creator knows how to fuse traditional flamenco in a very special way and together with her musicians she achieves a very rich and powerful show.
