The US Secretary of State, Antony blinken, spoke with his counterparts from the G7 countries to warn them that an attack by Iran and Hezbollah forces could occur within 24 hours, according to the information portal Axios.
The American media cites three sources familiar with the content of the calls that Blinken made to his counterparts in which he warned of this imminent attack that could begin today, Monday.
Blinken called that teleconference to coordinate with close allies of the United States and try to generate last-minute diplomatic pressure on Iran and the terrorist group Hezbollah, to minimize their retaliation as much as possible, according to Axios.
The American Secretary of State believes that limiting the impact of their attacks is the best way to avoid a total war in the area.
Iran and its Lebanese ally Hezbollah have vowed to respond to the eliminations of Hezbollah military commander Fuad Shukr in Beirut, who has been recognized by the Jerusalem government, and the head of the Hamas terrorist group's political office, Ismail Haniyeh, and his bodyguard, in Tehran, attributed by the Iranian Islamist regime to the Jewish State.
Sources told Axios That Blinken stressed to his allies his conviction that both Iran and Hezbollah will retaliate for these events.
But unlike the Iranian attack against Israel on April 13 - in which Iran launched almost 350 drones and missiles towards Israel that this country and its allies were able to intercept - Blinken said that, this time, it is not very clear how will produce this retaliation.
The US Secretary of State also expressed to his counterparts, according to Axios, that the US is striving to break the cycle of escalation by trying to limit the attacks by Iran and Hezbollah as much as possible and then curb the Israeli response.
And he asked the other ministers of G7 Exteriors - made up of the seven largest economies in the world - to also exert diplomatic pressure on Iran, Hezbollah and Israel to maintain maximum moderation.

This time must be used to teach a lesson to the corrupt, murderous and tyrannical Ayatollah rulers of Iran and the Lebanese government including Nazrallah so that the threat that Iran and its proxies are is put an end to.
