Two major Israeli technology companies, AppsFlyer and Innoviz Technologies, have announced layoffs as part of a restructuring strategy to streamline their operations and reduce costs.

Founded in 2011 by Reshef Mann and Oren Kaniel, AppFlyer is an advertising technology company that recently announced it will cut 100 jobs, representing 7% of its 1.400-person workforce across 20 global offices, including its headquarters in Herzliya. The move is part of an effort to streamline its operations and increase investment in artificial intelligence tools.

Kaniel, who is the founder and CEO of the company, said that “by reducing layers within the organization, we can make decisions more quickly, execute strategies more effectively and allocate resources to projects with greater impact.”

AppsFlyer developed a data analytics platform used by companies such as Coca-Cola, Nike, eBay and Visa to measure the effectiveness of their mobile advertising campaigns.

Innoviz Technologies, a manufacturer of sensors for autonomous vehicles, announced the layoff of 9% of its workforce, equivalent to 30 employees. The company expects to save approximately $12 million in 2025 with this measure. This is Innoviz's second staff cut in a year, after having laid off 13% of its workforce in January 2024.

Omer Keilaf, CEO of Innoviz, explained that “these actions seek to align our development efforts with the needs of our customers and extend our liquidity as we prepare for the start of production in 2026.”
