Valencia held a demonstration today, Sunday, for the release of the 101 hostages kidnapped by the terrorist group Hamas and for peace.

All Jewish communities were represented, as well as the Valencia Israel and Murcia Israel Friendship Associations, members of anti-Semitic groups and Israeli students. The meeting was attended by representatives of the PP (Popular Party) and others.

The silence of humanitarian organisations such as the Red Cross was denounced in the interventions, demanding a humanitarian corridor to assist the hostages as well as their prompt release. The hypocrisy of feminist organisations was also denounced for their silence in the face of the rapes and suffering of Israeli women on 7 October in captivity. The silence of the UN and international organisations following the execution of six hostages after eleven months of captivity was also criticised by the organisers.

The demonstration, led by a banner with the slogan “For peace” and a photo of Naama Levi and hostages, asks the international community and Valencian society to intercede for the release of all hostages and for a lasting peace in the region. A peace that requires dialogue with the Palestinian people who yearn for peace and condemn Hamas terrorism for the sake of future generations.

The march took place without incident and concluded with the participants singing the Israeli national anthem and Am Israel Jai in the heart of Valencia.

The demonstration first took place in the streets of Valencia, from the town hall, passing through La Paz Street, where the Jewish quarter was, and Colón Street, where the Portal Jueu and the old cemetery are located, until returning to the town hall gates.

More than 180 demonstrators gathered for this march, 11 months and one day after the bloody attacks of October 7 in southern Israel carried out by the terrorist organization Hamas.

  1. I don't think Hamas will release the hostages alive. They will kill them because that is what these terrorist murderers know how to do. So don't dream.

  2. HOWEVER, THESE ANTI-SEMISTICS HAVE NOT PUBLISHED THESE DEMONSTRATIONS, THEY ONLY TALK ABOUT ISRAEL'S GENOCIDE, THAT ISRAEL IS KILLING CHILDREN AND CIVILIANS, DEATH TO THE ENEMIES OF ISRAEL.

  3. 7 jm is a Murcia Jewish group. We support Israel's right to defend itself as Spain has gone and done. When Jews do it the world bends it to seem evil criminal wrong but if Spain USA London does it to protect their people it's ok..
