Adam Ran is the CEO of CleanCoin Technologies. The startup Israeli designed a app which rewards garbage collection and encourages good habits to protect the environment and reduce pollution.

Through the CleanCoin app, users can access coupons or discounts to buy products or carry out activities for free. As? All they have to do is film videos of themselves collecting and properly disposing of the trash that they find on the street or in nature.

CleanCoin in Spanish means “cleaning currency,” and that is what users receive when they collect trash and publish it in the app. If they collect enough trash to fill a bag, they receive 10 coins.

After the video is approved by the system as real, truly created by the user, and genuine, the coins will be sent to the user. This verification is done primarily through the use of Artificial Intelligence, but other users can also collaborate.

With the accumulated coins, users can access coupons and discounts in a marketplace included in the application. There you will find everything from fresh vegetables, clothing and accessories eco-friendly, recreational activities and nights in hostels. They also have the option to donate their coins to a charitable cause.

Since its launch, CleanCoin has already managed to have 100.000 users. It will soon be launched in other countries, such as Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.
