Actress Jennifer Jason Leigh pleads for hostages at Jerusalem Film Festival

Upon receiving a special recognition during the opening ceremony of the festival, on her first visit to the country the actress was encouraged to address the audience in Hebrew: “I pray every day for the release of the hostages, five times an hour, every morning at waking up and going to sleep. Be strong and brave and bring them home right now!”

In addition, he remembered his Jewish roots and the influence of his family in Los Angeles, where they celebrated Rosh Hashanah every year.
