Israel Defense Forces (IDF) warplanes launched a surprise attack against Hamas in the Gaza Strip early Tuesday morning, after negotiations with the Islamic terrorist group failed, as it refuses to release more hostages.
Among the Hamas officials killed in the airstrike, according to Arab media, are two members of the terrorist group's political bureau: Mohammed Abu Ubaida al-Jammasi and Issam al-Daalis; senior Interior Ministry official Mahmoud Abu Watfa; senior security official Bahjat Abu Sultan; and senior Justice Ministry official Abu Omar al-Taha.
The airstrikes began at 2:00 a.m., following the recommendation of the executive branch, after the negotiating team received the impression that Hamas would not release the hostages soon and would not change its position.
According to Palestinian media, among the killed terrorists was Mahmoud Abu Watfa, a senior security official who served as deputy minister in the Hamas Interior Ministry.
Lies and deception, part of the Islamic strategy. Israel is tough on them.
