Two Israeli soldiers killed in northern Israel after being hit by Hezbollah shells

Two soldiers were killed Thursday in northern Israel by the impact of several projectiles launched by the group Hezbollah from Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement.

The deceased have been identified as Nael Fwarsy, 43, and Tomer Keren, 20, according to the army.

The IDF also noted that during the incident that resulted in Keren's death, another soldier was seriously injured and evacuated to the hospital.
