The rise of anti-Semitism in Europe

Europe is no longer a safe place for Jews since the brutal attack by the Hamas terrorist group in southern Israel on October 7, 2023. Since that date, anti-Semitism has been on the rise in Europe and other parts of the world.

Jews began to hide their everyday implements, such as the kippah, the Magen David, the tallit, or even speaking Hebrew became a danger to the integrity of Jews in the world.

Since Hamas started this war with Israel, Jews who do not live in the aforementioned country have felt threatened and totally defenseless when they are in public places.

Furthermore, the growing population of Muslim Arabs constantly promotes unfounded hatred towards Israel in the European region and openly supports the terrorist group Hamas, responsible for murders and kidnappings of the Jewish population, not only since October 7, but since the legitimate establishment of the State of Israel 76 years ago.

The terrorist group Hamas, with the support of anti-Semites and anti-Zionists, systematically spreads, through social networks, multiple defamations that attribute to Israel and incite hatred towards the people who have only defended themselves since that atrocious date in October and who, together with their army, intend to free their kidnapped civilians.

One of the most worrying cases of hatred and anti-Semitism occurred on November 7, at the end of the football match between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ajax of the Netherlands, in the city of Amsterdam, where Jewish fans were brutally attacked by extremist Arabs, who waited for them outside the stadium to assault them.

The Amsterdam government must take action and protect its Jewish population, but its left-wing bias does not allow for concrete actions to guarantee the safety of this population.

Faced with this lack of response, the Jewish community, more united than ever, increased its security measures and expects a strong response from the government in the fight against anti-Semitism.
At this moment, many Jews are wondering if it is time to make aliyah, and thus protect their lives from the growing hatred. To leave for Israel, the country of the Jews, but which is also constantly fighting against 7 fronts that seek to eliminate them.
