Every year the Ministry of Health publishes a report that reflects the quality and efficiency of hospitals throughout the country.

Recently, information reflecting the state of the healthcare system was made public, taking into account the level of care in all medical centers for a wide range of life-threatening medical conditions.

The report highlights waiting times in emergency rooms, where Laniado Hospital in Netanya leads with an average time of 4 minutes for nursing assessment.

In second place is Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, with 5 minutes, Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv with 6 minutes, and Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon exceeded the target, with a waiting time of 13 minutes.

The waiting time for a tomography or MRI in case of suspected stroke was also revealed, which should not exceed 25 minutes. The most efficient was Assuta Hospital in Ashdod with 19 minutes and Hadassah Ein Kerem in Jerusalem with 21 minutes.

The following variables were also analyzed, such as childhood vaccination and monitoring of postpartum depression in women.

Uriel Boso, the Minister of Health, expressed that “as we learn lessons, draw necessary conclusions and integrate work plans, we can continue to strengthen the health system and improve medical care.”
