What happened with Saint-Exupéry
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, famous writer and aviator, disappeared on July 31, 1944 during a reconnaissance mission in Second World War. He had taken off in his plane Lightning P38 from Corsica to fly over the Toulon region, France. His plane lost contact with the base and It was never detected by radar again..
