Gabriela Trenchi was healthy and wanted an aesthetic improvement. The doctor told her it could be done, but she ended up in a wheelchair, with kidney problems, depression and more. However, she fought. She now publishes “Poisoned Bodies”, where she narrates her journey.

En Poisoned bodies. The victim who managed to defeat the surgeon Aníbal Lotocki, Gabriela Trenchi He tells in detail the vicissitudes of his buttock surgery, his extremely complicated postoperative period and the legal lawsuit he managed to file with the doctor. Aníbal Lotocki after the bars. A case that needs several allies and victims (like the deceased Silvina Luna and others who added their demand) to put the surgeon behind bars. Behind the scenes and details of a macabre plot that has not yet ended.
“Before having surgery I had an existence that could be considered privileged. He had never experienced any major illnesses. I went to the gym regularly and took great care of myself when eating. I used to travel often to buy clothes abroad and then sell them in my showrooms in Ramos Mejía and Núñez. I was doing great personally and also financially. "I was completely healthy and happy," he says. Gabriela Trenchi, textile businesswoman and one of the surgeon's victims Aníbal Lotocki.
Trenchi suffered (and suffers) the result of atrocious malpractice that left her wheelchair bound and with multiple physical and psychological disorders (kidney problems, skin problems, vision problems, panic attacks, depression and more), side effects of a brutal surgery that Lotocki and his team performed almost nine years ago. However, despite his physical weakness, with an iron will and determination, Trenchi was in charge of moving the judicial case that led to Lotocki to cárcel from Ezeiza, where he is currently serving an eight-year sentence.
These days, the topic returns to light because Gabriela Trenchi publish Poisoned bodies. The victim who managed to defeat the surgeon Aníbal Lotocki, a book published by Let's read -the editorial seal of Infobae– in which he tells of his ordeal after the operation and the legal plot that finally put the surgeon in prison.
The book is the first person story of the physical pain and the moral fraud that the author suffered – and still suffers – and reveals some interesting details: How did the doctor's clinic work? Lotocki? Who were his assistants and allies? How did he treat his patients before the operation? And then? How did the case reach the Courts and why was it shelved for several years? What mechanisms did you have to move Trenchi to speed it up? And now, how does the judicial path continue?
But before addressing the plot of the book, a crucial question is asked of its author:
-If life was about health and joy, why did you undergo plastic surgery?
-Actually, at that time I was in a relationship, I was with that person for 12 years. He told me that his tail was hanging... and I was self-conscious about what he told me. Actually, I had that complex since I was little. Notice that, when I was young, long skirts were not worn but I wore a long skirt to cover my bottom. I was 17 years old and this freedom of bodies that exists now did not exist. Everything was more regulated.
-And what happened?
-In the end, I ended up separating from this couple and when I did I was about to go on a trip with a friend and I decided to consult a surgeon, Gustavo Sampietro, who is a friend. And he told me: “Look, Gabi, because of the weight of your tail, the only thing you can do is put silicone on, like on your breasts, that could improve you.” But that didn't convince me, because with the trauma of the big butt and the small waist, if I put silicones on I was going to get a bigger butt. “I'm going to look like a light table,” I thought.”
Lotocki appears
In those thoughts I was Trenchi when he crossed paths with Lotocki: “He was famous, successful, and had his clinic and his patients. And I wanted to consult it. My friend accompanied me to the first interview and, when I saw him, he seemed like a charming gentleman, a snake charmer, it turned out! He told me to stay calm, that he did many surgeries, that he could place double tension threads on me, which he did with the fat he took from my sides. I told him that I didn't want him to put anything strange on me, because there was already talk at that time that he was putting methacrylate.”
El methacrylate, its derivatives and combinations is the poison that gives title to the book of Trenchi and that led to death Silvina Luna (one of his best-known victims) and many other people. But Trenchi was clear in those first meetings: “I told him that I didn't want any methacrylate, only the tension threads. 'Stay calm,' he said. Perfect, I said. Claudia, my friend, was a witness. I thought so. I went to see him back. I went to do the pre-surgical studies, they gave me perfect, I had nothing, and then he made me sign the consent in a hurry, the same day of the surgery. And I entered the operating room. I had surgery on August 7, 2015. That's where the hell of my life began.”
-Did you already have experience in Cosmetic surgeries? Have you had any surgery before?
-Yes, breasts. And two days later she was working, she was perfect. No problem. The problem here is not the polymethyl methacrylate, because he does not install this. He places a bio polymer, which is white and pink bags, and also subiton that he mixed with liquid silicone and my fat. And this was the bad thing.
En poisoned bodies, the author tells in detail what the poison of the surgeon, who today they call “Doctor Death” is about: “Thanks to punctures and studies carried out in later years, we discovered that Lotocki had placed certain products on my legs without my consent.
The doctors who helped me claimed that they had given me something strange.
At first, I flatly denied it: it was inconceivable to me that a professional had violated his word, taking advantage of my helplessness as an anesthetized patient. However, in a PET study that they performed on me months after my recovery, the scattered foreign material clearly appeared. through buttocks, thighs and legs. Lotocki had poisoned me and other patients. He was experimenting on us with a compound that had arrived in the country several years ago from Paraguay. The dust entered through Encarnación starting in 2013.”
In the judicial investigation, Trenchi, his lawyer and the prosecutor in the case managed to identify the substances – illegal, harmful, dangerous – that Lotocki manipulated
“The guy would put you to sleep and then do what he wanted. If something was wrong he blamed his patients. For him, each of us was responsible for the deficiencies of his body. But in reality, we were his guinea pigs. He was like Dr. Frankenstein and he wanted to sculpt our bodies to his own whim, resorting to compounds as magical as they were illegal. We were his rabbits, his laboratory rats. His victims", writes the author of poisoned bodies.
The court case
“You were always a warrior, you always got ahead on your own,” my sister, ten years younger than me, told me when she found out I was going to take legal action. And when he found out, he himself Lotocki, initiated legal action to silence me. Supposedly, my statements were insulting to him, but I was never affected by his threats. He will never intimidate me or censure me”Says GabrielaTrenchi and continues: “In 2015, when the justice officials took my statement, they verified my unfortunate state of health and I think they were moved. The actions continued at full speed despite the fact that many friends told me that I would not be able to advance because Doctor Doom had a lot of political comfort. But I went to the front without caring at all. What else could happen to me? “My life was in tatters.”.
The case has several aspects: on the one hand, the accusation of abandonment of person. Lotocki He operated and then left his patients adrift. “He never took care of me, he didn't even come to see me at Los Arcos, where I was hospitalized after having undergone his operating room,” says Trenchi. The irresponsibility regarding the asepsis standards also weighs on the surgeon: “The operating room did not comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Health, there was no cleaning, there were no instruments in order, nor did the team have an anesthetist. He anesthetized me himself Lotocki, could have killed me. And he did it with other patients too.”
The judicial case also observed and condemned the tax fraud on which the clinic was founded. Lotocki: “They never gave me a blank receipt for all the money I paid for my operation. In addition to the scam of having done something to my body that I didn't want,” the victim emphasizes.
But, despite having won this battle, there is Gabriela Trenchi a pending issue that is, precisely, the responsibility of the team of people who worked with the surgeon: “Lotocki He is in prison, but his assistants should also be behind bars. There was a nurse on the team who I don't know if he is a nurse, the secretary who later became the doctor's partner, and other people who worked with him and who knew very well what they were doing. I believe that they function like a sect and my goal now is to disarm that sect and make everyone pay for all the crimes they committed," he says. Trenchi.
At this point, it is worth reflecting again on the practice of cosmetic surgery. We then asked Gabriela Trenchi:
-What recommendations could you give to people who want to modify some aspect of their body and undergo this type of surgery?
-That they lead a healthy life, that they do more sports. And if they are going to enter an operating room, they should make sure that everything is in order: the instruments, the qualifications, the professionals that make up the medical team. You have to give yourself time to think about what you are going to do and observe all the details before handing yourself over to the stretcher.
At some point in the book, the author compares Lotocki with the devil The comparison invites us to think about the motivations of the surgeon currently imprisoned. Does he know what evil does? Does he do it on purpose or does he think that he is doing good – giving beauty, for example, to the people he cares for and that next time everything will turn out better?
At Gabriela Trenchi no doubts: "I think it's diabolical", he says, "because he knows what he is doing and he does it for money. He's not bad in the head. He made millions, many millions of dollars and no one is touching him about that issue. And he knows perfectly well what he places. Because those biopolymers are harmful, poisonous. And the people who were working with him are also responsible for all the deaths caused and the illnesses that many of his former patients suffer from. That is why now I am with the issue of illicit association. “I continue litigating until they are all in prison.”
