The Tel Aviv court on Monday lifted the gag order on the identity of the reservist detained in the BibiLeaks case (regarding the leak of military intelligence documents to the media), who has been identified as Aaron Rosenfeld, although it is still prohibited to disclose details about his rank and history in the Army.

It was Rosenfeld himself who asked the court to make his identity public: “I cannot fight for my innocence if I remain in the dark. I cannot fight for my good name. The public needs to know who I am, what I did and what my intentions were.”, he said yesterday at the hearing to assess his request, according to the Israeli newspaper today Yediot ahronot.

Her request comes in the wake of efforts to obtain a pardon from Israeli President Isaac Herzog, whose pardon she requested on December 19, according to presidential sources.

Then, He said he had understood the illegality of his actions and promised not to repeat them., since the demonstration of repentance is a requirement to achieve forgiveness.

Rosenfeld remains in custody while the other defendant in the BibiLeaks case, Eli Feldstein (adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu), was placed under house arrest on December 9.

The reservist's family released personal details about him to the media, including that he was 30 years old and lived with his family in the Ramat Gan area north of Tel Aviv. Last Thursday, his defense team asked the court to place Rosenfeld under house arrest, as did Feldstein.

Netanyahu's former adviser is accused of intentionally leaking classified information to foreign media in order to To boost public opinion in favour of Israel and against the demonstrations for a hostage release agreement, which the indictment alleges could have caused “significant damage to Israel’s defense interests and exposed intelligence sources used to save lives.”

According to the indictment, filed on November 21, Rosenfeld was the one who sent Feldstein a photo of a top-secret document in April to deliver to Netanyahu.

The German newspaper BILD and British The Jewish Chronicle They published the information associated with the leak in September, according to which the late Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar, plotted to escape with the hostages from Gaza through the Philadelphia Corridor, the dividing line between the Strip and Egypt.

Under that premise, an agreement at that time with Hamas was not only unfeasible but also made necessary, as Netanyahu insisted, the presence of Israeli troops on the border with Egypt to prevent something like that from happening.

Now, the LikudThe prime minister's party is seeking to push through the so-called Feldstein Act, which would allow members of the military and intelligence services to leak classified documents to the prime minister or defence minister without authorisation.

From the start, Netanyahu has described the investigations into the leaks and the accusations of his involvement in them as a “witch hunt” and even a “coup” by certain officials.

  1. NO NEGOTIATION OF TEHENES JEWS FOR MUSLIMS MURDERERS, LET US NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF “SHALIT” AGAIN, HIS MOTHER WAS HAPPY BUT THAT EXCHANGE CAUSED THE DEATH OF THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT JEWS AT THE HANDS OF THE FREED MUSLIMS MURDERERS AND DRIVEN THEM TO KIDNAP MORE HOSTAGES TO EXCHANGE THEM AGAIN!!!!
WHO NOW CONSOLES THE MOTHERS OF THE THOUSANDS OF JEWISH MURDERERS????
IT IS NOT SHALIT'S FAULT OR HIS MOTHER'S, IT IS THE FAULT OF THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT THAT NEGOTIATED, APPROVED AND CARRIED OUT THE INFAMOUS EXCHANGE!!!!
LET THE BLOOD OF THE DEAD, BECAUSE OF THEIR FAULTS, FALL ON THEIR HEADS, LET THE MOTHERS OF THE THOUSANDS OF MURDERED JEWS TAKE TO THE STREETS TO EXPRESS THEIR PAIN AND ACCUSE THE GOVERNMENT OF NATANYAHU OF HIGH TREASON AGAINST THE JEWISH PEOPLE AND STATE!!!!

  2. It was obvious that the demonstrations were against Israel's ability to pressure Hamas to release the hostages.
Sinwar saw that he had to just endure, without doing anything.
The anti-Bibi Israeli left-wing media knew this, but does anyone think they care about the lives of the hostages?
