The Forum of Families of Hostages and Missing Persons, which represents the majority of relatives of those kidnapped on October 7, reiterated its call for the release of “every last hostage” following “disturbing images” of the release of three Israeli captives on Saturday, in which they were seen visibly emaciated.
The Islamic terrorist organization Hamas released in a sinister ceremony in central Gaza Ohad Ben Ami, 56, kidnapped along with his wife, Raz Ben Ami (released in the November truce), from Kibbutz Beeri; Eli Sharabi, 52, whose two daughters and wife were killed by Hamas in the attack on the same kibbutz; and Or Levy, 34, taken by force at the Nova festival.
The three men, serious, visibly thin and weakened, were guarded by armed and masked Hamas terrorists, who took them up onto a stage and forced them to say a few words in Hebrew urging them to continue with the next phases of the truce and end the war, before boarding Red Cross vehicles that took them to Israeli territory.
According to a statement issued by the families' forum, "the disturbing images of the release of Ohad, Eli and Or are further raw and painful evidence that leaves no room for doubt: there is no time to lose for the hostages!"
“We must get them all out, every last hostage. Now!” the families added.
With today's release, Hamas has freed 18 hostages (13 Israelis and 15 Thais) in five rounds of captive exchanges for Palestinian terrorists held in Israeli jails. Israel is expected to release 183 of these terrorists on Saturday.
