Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he is willing to hand over the transcript of the meeting held last week between the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov.

"If the US Administration deems it appropriate, we are willing to offer the US Senate and House the recording of the conversation," Putin said.

The president's advisor, Yuri Ushakov, specified that the Kremlin does not have an audio recording of the conversation, but rather a transcript of it.

American media reported that in that meeting, held in the Oval Office of the White House, Trump shared classified information with Lavrov about the plans of the Islamic State (IS) to use laptops to attack planes in flight.

«We see that a political schizophrenia is developing in the United States. "Otherwise I cannot explain the accusations against the president (Trump) of having shared secrets with Lavrov," Putin said in Sochi after meeting with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni.

He added, jokingly: «By the way, today I already spoke with him (Lavrov) and I will have to scold him, because he did not share those secrets with us, neither with me nor with the intelligence services. Very bad for him.

"Today, the political struggle in the United States worries us, because it is difficult to imagine what other things people who generate such nonsense can invent to incite anti-Russian sentiments," said the Russian president.

According to Putin, "these people do not understand that they are harming their own country and in that case they are simply stupid. And if they understand it, they are dangerous and play dirty.

"Only the American people should evaluate President Donald Trump's management and, of course, they will be able to do so when they let him work at full capacity," he stressed.

For the rest, the Russian president evaluated the results of the meeting between Trump and Lavrov very favorably.

The American president admitted on Twitter that he shared certain information related to terrorism with Russia in that meeting and assured that he has "the absolute right" to do so.

The White House has insisted that Trump did nothing "inappropriate" or put national security at risk, although it has declined to confirm whether the information given to Lavrov was secret. EFE

  1. Putin, he is dangerous, there is no doubt about that. As for Trump's "mistake," I do believe that the media does everything against him. If it had been Obama, there wouldn't be so much fuss and many wouldn't even have noticed.
But Putin is suspiciously supporting Trump and he has surely drawn his conclusions, we will see what he achieves with those statements that were not for pleasure or good people.
Although he is right about something.
After all, there is no lie more dangerous than one that is almost a truth.

  2. It is a leak of information about a common terrorist enemy between two countries, but Russia also has other interests and it cannot be assured that it will not use classified information to harm the United States, or Israel if it provided it, or that in Russia there is a filtration.

    1. I believe that Russia wants to increase its global influence, to the detriment of the US or those who are necessary...it is not for nothing that Putin is the most powerful man in the world, according to Forbes.
      Then Trump….

  3. Putin has his interests and is dangerous, his allies are very dangerous, they are criminals and seek conflict in Iran, and Bashar al Assad and his ally Hezbollah are very, very dangerous.

  4. This whole thing will be a joke! The thing about laptops came out in the press months ago, how a bomb laptop is built and it is by removing the hard drive and replacing it with a powerful explosive. and they detonate it by sticking it to the wall of the plane to make a hole and cause an implosion due to decompression.

  5. A president of the United States, who is a Republican and at the same time pro-Russian. Roosevelt and Reagan must be turning in his grave!

  6. It is a shame that the most pro-Israel US president in recent times is such a controversial person. Not only may Trump owe his presidency to Putin's election maneuvers, but he seems untrustworthy with his allies. And as examples there is not only this case, but also that of the United Kingdom.
