The Houthis are the latest puppet of the Shia Axis who have not re-evaluated their actions or restrained their weapons.
Throughout the campaign against the Yemeni terrorist organization, the US-led coalition has made operational errors: it did not attack the Houthi regime's infrastructure; the organization's leaders were not eliminated; sustained operational continuity was not maintained – only actions to eliminate immediate threats; no ground operations, not even special forces missions, were carried out; and Iran has not paid a price for its actions. proxy [proxy].
Did the long-awaited change happen last night?
Hopefully yes.
This is Trump's first test of power projection, which will frame all the threats he has made so far.
If we witness something extraordinary, then “Open the Gates of Hell” diplomacy will still be effective.
But if this doesn't stop the Houthis, it will project weakness, not only toward Hamas but especially toward Iran, and Trump's power diplomacy will be seen as hollow.
The real test is the exit, not the entrance.
The only question that matters is not how many attacks the United States launches; but whether the Red Sea will once again open to all ships.
We'll wait and see: for now, things look better than before.
