A journalist asked him if he thought US military personnel were needed in the Strip to make Trump's plan a reality, to which the prime minister replied with a brief: "No."
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, said Thursday that he does not believe it is necessary to deploy US troops in Gaza, a possibility that US President Donald Trump has raised. Donald Trump, had mentioned as part of its plan to take control of the Strip and relocate Gazans to other countries.
Netanyahu was on Capitol Hill on Thursday, meeting with lawmakers from both the Democratic and Republican parties.
During a photo session with Senate leaders, a reporter asked him if he thought US troops were needed in the Gaza Strip to make Trump's plan a reality, to which the prime minister replied with a brief: "Do not".
Netanyahu's comment comes at a time when the US administration has begun to qualify some elements of Trump's proposal for “take control” of Gaza and expel the Palestinian population, insisting that the president has not committed to the use of US troops and that any relocation of Palestinians would be temporary.
This Thursday morning, in a post on Truth Social, Trump insisted that the US intends to take the Gaza Strip, destroyed by Israeli bombing during 15 months of war, to turn it into “one of the largest and most spectacular (urban) developments of its kind on Earth.”
However, he said that the deployment of soldiers would not be necessary. “There would be no need for American soldiers! Stability in the region would reign!” he wrote.
On Tuesday, when he presented his plan for Gaza at a press conference with Netanyahu at the White House, Trump did not rule out deploying US troops to support the reconstruction of the Strip and assured that the US would do whatever was “necessary” to complete this project and turn the area into “the Riviera of the Middle East.”
Trump also proposed that Gazans be resettled “permanently” in other countries and insisted that Jordan and Egypt should accept more Palestinian refugees from Gaza, an idea flatly rejected by these two countries, as well as by United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the Palestinian Authority and the Arab League.
The next day, however, the US administration began to qualify both the deployment of troops and the idea of permanent resettlement, after Washington's allies around the world and even Republican lawmakers rejected the proposal.
Specifically, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said at a press conference that the Resettlement would be “temporary” and downplayed Trump's comments about sending troops to the Middle East, saying the president had not "committed" to it and had not yet made a "decision" on the matter.
Palestinians claim the Gaza Strip as part of a future state, along with the West Bank and East Jerusalem, so the displacement of the enclave's two million inhabitants and its real estate development by the US would mean the end of the concept of a Palestinian state and as it has been conceived until now.

Freemasonry around the world supports the Jesuit Mason BERGOGLIO.
The former Jesuit Alberto Rivera Romero in his chic magazines, says that the popes have been masons like Pius XII, Carol Boitila and now Bergoglio who is a great mason of the 12 thousandth degree.
As the Jesuits have the mission of bringing the papacy to non-world government, now the Masonic lodges of the planet have also given support to colleague BERGOGLIO for this purpose.
The curious thing that is indicated in this video is that the Masonic lodges of Lebanon have also given support to BERGOGLIO.
This suggests that behind Hezbollah, there is the Lebanese Freemasonry, aware of the events of the Hezbollah terrorists…
Therefore, Lebanese Freemasonry is against Israel, acting on behalf of the Pope in the case of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a book that induces Masonic hatred against Israel.
Finally, behind the Lebanese Freemasons, BERGOGLIO, who leads them to force Israel to hand over Jerusalem to the Pope, through the Nazi coercive policy of the two states.
Just like the Frank Masons who murdered Colosio in Mexico to blame the government for a murder it did not commit and with that blackmail achieve a change of government in Mexico in the year 2000.
May God bless, protect, strengthen and give wisdom to Israel and Mexico always...!!!
And that's how it should be.
