In this context, in which the government is criticized for not meeting its own greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets, the National Planning and Construction Committee approved new regulations that require the installation of solar in all new single-family homes and non-residential buildings.

These regulations will come into force once they are published in the official gazette, which should occur in the coming weeks.
