The Jewish Educational Vision Forum is an initiative created in March 2023, supported by companies, education departments from different Latin American countries and the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs of the State of Israel.

This week an event was held that brought together educational leaders from 11 Latin American countries in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with the aim of promoting collaboration and networking in the region.

The 6th International Education Meeting was also held in the Argentine capital, with the participation of 1.647 registered educators, under the motto “Education that embraces with hope.” The educators participated in 90 workshops for all types of Jewish education teachers and Jewish school educators in general.

During the meeting, Silvio Joskowicz, addressing the participants, said that education “represents a vital bridge that not only unites our communities with Israel, but also connects each family with our shared legacy. In the face of fear and uncertainty, you have demonstrated and continue to demonstrate a dedication that goes beyond the classroom, educating, transmitting and living Judaism with tireless passion.

For its part, Ifat Ovadia-Luski, president of KKL-JNF, highlighted that this “is a defining moment for Zionism. It is our opportunity to shape the current Zionist narrative. At KKL-JNF, we will continue to strengthen and advance Jewish-Zionist education both here and abroad. This commitment is at the center of our Zionist mission.”
