The Jordanian Interior Ministry announced on Sunday that it is investigating the terrorist attack with a firearm at the Allenby border crossing, which connects Jordan with Judea and Samaria (West Bank), in which three Israelis were killed, and was perpetrated by the driver of a truck who opened fire on employees at the cargo terminal.

In a brief statement, the department said that "authorities have begun investigating the shooting that occurred across the King Hussein Bridge," as the Allenby Pass is known.

So far, there are no further details on this event from Jordan.

The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement that a man driving a truck, whose identity is unknown, "got out of the truck and opened fire on Israeli security forces operating on the bridge."

The Israel Defense Forces said the three dead were "Israeli civilians" and that the truck driver was "eliminated."

  1. If the IDF does not put an end to Hamas, these events will never end. The Israelis must know this and not push for the release of the hostages.
