The city of Tel Aviv-Jafo will host, as every year, an event called “Lighting Jafo”, a series of activities for residents and tourists that invite them to celebrate the festive season of Hanukkah and Christmas, a symbol of diversity and unity.

Within this framework, the city will be transformed into a space filled with lights, culture and traditions that highlight the uniqueness of Jaffa. Ron Huldai, Mayor of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, said: “Jaffa is a beacon of solidarity, mutual support and community life. These events symbolize our shared hope for a brighter and more united future. I invite everyone to enjoy the beauty of Jaffa and its unique spirit.”

Among other things, you can take part in the lighting of the 15-metre Christmas tree, in collaboration with the Orthodox Scouts of Jaffa, which will illuminate the square near the Clock Tower every evening from 15 December to 19 January.

In addition, from December 8 to January 5, a giant interactive menorah will be installed in the Stai Hotel plaza, allowing children to explore the menorah by walking through it and discovering surprises such as walkie-talkies, changing colors and a periscope with views of the coast.

There will also be other attractions and activities on the Jaffa waterfront, on the corner of Yefet and Tzvi Tzur streets, in Wolfson Square and at the Jaffa Flea Market.
