The Israeli president, Isaac Duke, sent this Wednesday a message of "resilience" to the Jewish communities of the world, while Israel's war against the Hamas group marks 10 months and the Jewish State prepares for a potential attack by Iran and its allies in Middle East.

«We have a very precious resource: the remarkable resilience of our people (…) It is what has allowed us to rise and rebuild even after the worst tragedies, and it is what we rely on now"said the president in a video message broadcast by his office.

The war with Hamas, which broke out on October 7 of last year after an attack by the terrorist group against Israel, which left some 1.200 dead and 251 kidnapped, is now 10 months old while 111 of the hostages (39 of them dead according to Israel) remain captive in the Gaza Strip, including two children, brothers, five and one year old respectively.

In parallel, Israel has been waiting for a week for a possible large-scale attack by Iran and its allies.

«Our enemies, poisoned by hate, blinded by radicalism and anti-Semitism, they have sworn to attack us again. We all feel the tension, anxiety and vulnerability of these moments. But friends, rest assured. “I want to say it clearly: we have the ability to confront our enemies and defeat them,” Herzog said.

The president praised Israel's military and intelligence forces, as well as the international alliances that have helped Israel militarily, especially the United States.
