In 2024, Israel presented its own pavilion for the third time at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29), with the participation of 20 companies selected by the Israel Export Institute, which stood out for their creative solutions to climate change.
Despite geopolitical tensions, the Israeli pavilion drew the attention of conference members for innovations such as irrigation monitoring devices, reusable paper with removable ink and processes for converting waste into aviation fuel.
Some of the Israeli companies present were Reep, which develops laser technology that removes ink from white paper to reuse it up to 10 times, Momentick, which created a system that combines satellites and artificial intelligence algorithms to detect methane and NGV leaks, with its catalysts that transform waste into sustainable aviation fuel.
