Most of the people on the list are women and teenagers.
The Ministry of Justice published this Friday a List containing details of 95 Palestinian prisoners to be released under the agreement with the terrorist group Hamas.
Most of the people on the list are women and teenagers, including one who was not yet 18 at the time of his arrest. The list details that the vast majority of the prisoners were detained by Israeli authorities before the Hamas attacks on October 7.
Several figures stand out above the rest, such as the case of Jalida Jarrar, a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) who has been arrested several times by the Israeli authorities. He is currently in prison under an administrative detention order since December 2023.
Another person who stands out on this list is Bushar al-Tawil, a Palestinian activist and daughter of a former Hamas member who went on to govern the West Bank town of Al-Biré. Al Tawil has been under administrative arrest since last March, while Her husband has been sentenced to nine life terms.
This same Friday, the Israeli authorities have also published the list with the names of the 33 hostages who will be released in the first phase of the agreement ceasefire, although they have qualified that this does not imply that everyone is alive.
The agreement, reached on Wednesday after months of indirect talks mediated by Qatar, Egypt and the United States, will be divided into three phases. The first will last 42 days and will certify the cessation of hostilities, the withdrawal of Israeli troops to the border and the exchange of 33 hostages for Palestinian prisoners.
The second phase will involve the distribution of “safe and effective” humanitarian aid to a large part of the Gaza Strip, devastated by more than 15 months of Israeli offensive. The repair of health centres will also be carried out and civilian supplies and fuel will be allowed into the enclave. Further details of the second and third stages of the agreement will be released as the first phase is certified.

Boker tov/ Rohaavim tovim. I think it's a bad deal. Returning hostages means they are alive. Returning bones is a mockery of the Israelis. Releasing administrative captains is a huge mistake. I think we should conquer the West Bank and unite the country up to Eillat. We are going to make the same mistake as in the 60s. They don't respect Israel. Thank you.
