The Israeli Air Force on Wednesday continued its destruction of the arsenal of the army of ousted Syrian President Bashar al-Assad with new attacks on air defence posts and radars, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which put the number of Israeli strikes at 352 in four days.

The NGO said that Israeli fighter jets attacked this morning "an air defence post" and an "early warning" site in the villages of Bilah and Al Balata, in the north of the Mediterranean city of Tartus, a stronghold of the Al Assad family.

Other targets attacked include two radar positions south of the city and on the outskirts of the Mediterranean city of Latakia, where Russia - an ally of Damascus - has its bases.

The Observatory, which is based in the United Kingdom but has a wide network of collaborators on the ground, indicated that during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also bombed a barracks in Al Joura, in the city of Deir Al Zur, in the east of the country, "which led to the destruction of military aircraft and radar equipment."

"Israel has carried out more than 352 airstrikes against 13 Syrian provinces since the announcement of the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime on the morning of 8 December," the NGO said, noting that the strikes also targeted former positions of Iranian and pro-Iranian militias in Syria.

The airstrikes, which Israel is trying to use to prevent the Syrian army's arsenal from being used by uncontrolled groups, covered the entire country, including Damascus, and targeted "scientific research" laboratories and weapons and ammunition depots, he said.

The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement on Tuesday that they had destroyed more than 70 percent of the military capabilities of the ousted Syrian regime since the Levant Liberation Organization (HTS) insurgent coalition took Damascus on Sunday and announced the end of the Assad government.

They said the targets destroyed in the strikes included Syrian air defense systems, missile depots, drones, helicopters, fighter jets, tanks, radars and warships, as well as warehouses with long-range, cruise and ballistic missiles, among others.

The IDF also explained that its forces attacked several warehouses containing chemical weapons in Syria, and stressed that these bombings were to prevent the weapons from reaching the hands of the Lebanese Shiite terrorist group Hezbollah or "any other hostile force" that could threaten them. 1. Hello. Many thanks to the IDF, and congratulations to the people of Israel and the world, because today they have made us a little bit freer. Down with terrorism and long live freedom!
God bless Israel and its people!

  2. Very well for Israel and if Israel keeps the lands of Syria, think that Morocco kept the Sahara, Azerbaijan kept the lands of Armenia, Russia kept part of Ukraine, etc. etc.
