According to a report by venture capital firm YL Ventures, Israel's cyber industry defied expectations by attracting $4.000 billion in investments in 2024, more than double the previous year.

The figure is striking because the achievement comes in a context marked by the conflict with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah.

In 2024, Israeli cybersecurity companies raised these funds through 89 rounds of financing, and by 2023 they had raised $1.890 billion in 71 rounds in 2023.

Most of these investments went to companies developing technologies to protect the cloud and address threats related to artificial intelligence.

Much of the 2024 investments went to companies in advanced growth stages, outperforming investments in companies in the early stages of development. A significant contribution came from Wiz, an Israeli-American unicorn company, which raised $1.000 billion in total.

According to the State of the Cyber Nation report, the surge in funding reflects global confidence in Israel's cyber talent and innovation, even during a period of geopolitical and economic instability.
