The National Directorate of Public Diplomacy releases its summary report on terrorism against Israel in 2024: A total of 18.365 terrorist incidents occurred, in which 134 people were killed and 1.277 were injured
The report compiles all information and data from the Israel Defense Forces, the Israel Police, the Israel Security Agency (ISA) and emergency and rescue authorities. It is sent to all official Israeli authorities engaged in public diplomacy and is used as an official source of data in the field of hasbara.

According to the report, some 2024 rockets were fired and crossed into Israel in 16.400, of which some 15.400 were launched from Lebanon and some 700 from Gaza. October 2024 saw the highest number of rocket launches against Israel, with more than 6.900.
399 hostile UAVs crossed into Israeli territory. Rocket and UAV fire caused extensive damage: 71 people died, 14 of them minors, and 892 people were injured. They also started nearly 610 fires, which burned 92.417 acres of Nature and Parks Authority land and more than 42.749 acres of grazing land.
In 2024, there were 1.900 additional terrorist incidents, including stone throwing, petrol bombs, car-ramming, shootings, stabbings, assaults, explosive devices and throwing objects. July saw the highest number of incidents: 191 attacks. November was the quietest month, with 109 attacks. October was the most violent month, with 37 people killed and 394 injured.
The most common type of terrorist attack was stone throwing, with 1.248 incidents. April was the month with the most stone throwing, with 130 incidents, and November was the quietest month, with 76 incidents. The next most common attacks were throwing objects, arson and burning tyres (162), Molotov cocktail throwing (140), shootings (132) and explosive devices (89).
