The Izz ad Din al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic terrorist group Hamas, announced that one of its troops opened fire and "instantly murdered" an Israeli hostage, while two other hostages were seriously injured in another incident; while the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) assured that it has not been able to confirm the information by its own means.
"Two of our soldiers assigned as guards of enemy captives opened fire on a Zionist hostage, killing him instantly," al-Qasam Brigades spokesman Abu Obeida said in a statement.
In a second "separate incident," two abductees were seriously injured and "attempts are being made to save their lives," Abu Obeida said.
The Israel Defense Forces noted, for its part, that it has "no intelligence information that would refute or confirm Hamas' claims." "We will continue to examine and verify the credibility of the message and will update with the information we obtain," he added in a statement.
"The Zionist government is fully responsible for massacres and resulting reactions that affect the lives of Zionist prisoners," argued the spokesman for the Hamas terrorist organization, who noted that a committee has been formed to investigate what happened and that "the Conclusions will be announced later.
Of the 251 kidnapped on October 7, 111 captives remain in the enclave, at least 39 of them dead as Israel has been able to confirm - more than 70 according to Hamas -; while there are four other hostages held captive for years, two of them dead.
Likewise, of the total number of captives, four hostages were released by Hamas in October; seven rescued by the IDF - one soldier in October, two in Rafah in February and four in Nuseirat in June; while the bodies of 24 hostages have been recovered, three of whom Israeli troops mistakenly killed in December in Shujaiya.
Since the war began, Israel and Hamas only reached a one-week truce agreement at the end of November, which allowed the release of 105 hostages in exchange for 240 imprisoned Palestinian terrorists; while the international community is now trying to restart negotiations for a ceasefire.
The Government of Jerusalem announced that it would send a delegation this Thursday, August 15, to meet with the mediators -Egypt, Qatar and the US-, but Hamas announced that it would not attend the meeting, amidst information that points to an attack by Iran and Hezbollah against Israel this week in retaliation for the elimination in Tehran of the leader of the political office of the Palestinian Islamists, Ismail Haniyeh, which the Iranian authorities attribute to Israel.

GAS CHAMBER FOR THESE DOGS OR BETTER STOCKS
They do not blame Israel, the elders responsible for what happens to the prisoners are Hamas themselves and the Palestinians, because kidnapping is already a serious crime and torturing and killing them is worse, so those who are committing the atrocities are them, not Israel. It's your fault so don't try to shift the blame.
