The new political leader of the Palestinian terrorist movement Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, thanked the Lebanese group Hezbollah for its support in the Gaza war in a rare letter addressed to the secretary general of the Lebanese party, Hassan Nasrallah.

"We thank you for your solidarity combined with sincere and noble feelings, which has been demonstrated by your blessed actions on the fronts of the Axis of Resistance in support, backing and commitment to this battle," reads the letter, released on Friday by Hezbollah.

On October 8, a day after the outbreak of the war in Gaza, the Shiite group opened a front to support Hamas from southern Lebanon, as have other members of the informal anti-Israeli alliance led by Iran and with members such as the Houthi rebels of Yemen.

The letter is a response to an earlier message from Nasrallah offering condolences over the death of Sinwar's predecessor, Ismail Haniyeh, who died on July 31 in Tehran.

The new Hamas political leader stressed in the letter that the "blood" of its leaders is not more "valuable" than that of the Palestinian population and stated that all the casualties suffered so far will only strengthen the determination to "confront the Nazi Zionist occupation." (Sic).

Hezbollah leads the main parallel front in the Gaza war and has been locked in intense crossfire with Israel for more than 2006 months, clashes of a scale unprecedented since the XNUMX war.

  1. They can share the hole they hide in and where they will spend the rest of their miserable lives watching us eliminate one by one everyone they ever loved.
