French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said Monday that his country is working to strengthen the Palestinian Authority so that it can take control of Gaza and prevent the resurgence of Hamas.

"If we want to prevent the resurgence of Hamas in Gaza, we need a civilian administration under the auspices of the Palestinian Authority," Barrot said in an interview with BFMTV.

The minister said that this is why the Palestinian Authority must be "strengthened", as France is already doing.

French President Emmanuel Macron spoke by telephone on Saturday with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to offer his condolences for “all the civilian victims in Gaza,” according to the Elysée Palace, and to stress that a “massive” delivery of humanitarian aid is now “essential” to respond to the “vital urgency” of the inhabitants of the territory.

Macron also stressed the need to “restore Palestinian governance in Gaza that fully involves the Palestinian Authority” and the two leaders discussed the steps needed to achieve this.

The French president said that the future of Gaza must be framed “within the framework of a future Palestinian State” and at the same time it must be ensured that “no massacre” such as that of October 7, 2023 “against the Israeli people” can “never” be repeated, in direct reference to the Hamas attacks from Gaza that day. 1. Mr Macron should not meddle in what he does not know - or does not want to know - and should devote himself more to preventing France from becoming another Islamic country, if it has not already been converted. Mr Macron opens his mouth and brays, no one is interested in his opinion, he is already classified in the same category as Daladier, who together with Chamberlain signed the pact with Hitler in 1938 and within a few months Hitler defecated on the pact.
What Winston Churchill said about Chamberlain in 1938, which was also true for Daladier, is also true today for Mr Macron, the French president: “You were given the choice between war and dishonour. You chose dishonour, and you will have war.”
The clownish French president has not yet noticed that France already has football teams whose shirts are written in Arabic. He has also not noticed that at the time of Muslim prayers, large cities such as Marseille come to a complete standstill, because Muslims stop everything and pray in the streets, halting traffic and all activity.
