An Israeli startup developed and implemented a new way to generate green energy and transform it into electrical energy. Eco Wave Power Global designed a system that transforms the movement of ocean waves into energy, which it transfers to power plants on land.
For the first time, the company connected a plant to Israel's power grid. The project was carried out thanks to financing from the Israeli Ministry of Energy and the collaboration of the renewable energy company EDF Renewables IL.
Eco Wave has already installed its 10 floats along the breakwater on the Jaffa coast. In turn, its power plant has a capacity of 100 KW, an amount with which it can supply electricity to 100 homes in its total capacity.
Inna Braverman, founder and CEO of the company, said: “This is just the beginning of wave energy. “We are excited that this station will serve as a catalyst for many more projects around the world.”
Great, magnificent, a natural energy of great value for the whole world, can you imagine Chile with more than 5000 kilometers of coastline in the Pacific????. I see them coming to work with us. God bless you always, Shalom, I love you children of Jacob.
