The report concludes that although the terrorists suffered heavy losses in the war in Gaza, the strategy of destruction could be reactivated in the future if the organization manages to recover and receives external support.

Documents seized during the war in the Gaza Strip revealed that Hamas, in coordination with the regime of Iran and the terrorists of Hezbollah, developed a detailed plan to destroy Israel, elevating this strategy from a theoretical vision to a concrete operation.

According to records found in the enclave and released by The Times of Israel, the leadership of Hamas, headed by Yahya al-Sinwar, established operational and financial links with its partners to ensure the viability of the plans.

The report notes that, by 2021, the destruction of Israel was seen by Hamas as a long-term goal. However, after the operation “Guardian of the Walls” (May 2021), the organization changed its focus. Hamas began to consider that the elimination of the State of Israel was feasible in the near future and strengthened its coordination with the axis of resistance, composed by Iran, Hezbollah, pro-Iranian militias in Iraq, and the Houthis in Yemen.

“The documents taken from Gaza during the Gaza Strip war confirm what officials in Hamas had publicly declared and indicate that the plan to eliminate the State of Israel had been considered in recent years, especially after Operation Guardian of the Walls, by the leadership of Hamas, Especially Yahya al-Sinwar (as well as by its allies, Iran and Hezbollah), as executable and highly feasible in the near future,” the text states.

The report highlights that Israel did not understand the changes in the strategies of this axis, which allowed Hamas and their allies will move forward with their planning without an advance response.

Financing and agreements with Iran

The documents reveal that Hamas sought financial backing from Iran for their operations. In a letter dated June 5, 2021, sent by al-Sinwar, Mohammed Deif and Marwan Issa to the commander of the Qods Force, Esmail Qaani, financing is requested 500 million within a period of two years.

"To achieve these great goals, with which we will change the face of the universe, with the help of Allah, we urgently need financial assistance of twenty million dollars per month for two years, which is equivalent to half a billion dollars in two years. We are confident that, at the end of these two years or during them, Allah willing, we will eradicate this distorted entity, and together we will change the face of the region," he emphasized.

In another letter sent the same day to Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali KhameneiHamas expressed confidence that, with Iranian support, they could achieve the disappearance of Israel:

"This imaginary entity is weaker than people believe. With Allah's help, His assistance, and the support of our nation, we are capable of eradicating and eliminating it in the near future."

Hezbollah's participation

The captured documents reveal that Hezbollah not only maintained a strategic alliance with Hamas, but also participated in the planning of possible offensives. In a document of the July 19, 2021, aimed at Saeed Izadi, head of the Palestinian branch of the Qods Force, al-Sinwar details how Hamas y Hezbollah They had to coordinate for a confrontation against Israel.

"There is no doubt that the Palestinian military apparatus in Lebanon is one of the fundamental pillars of this project, and it is their right to guarantee the route and direction of this apparatus so that it never deviates from its goal of Jerusalem," he said.

A year later, in a letter sent on July 1, 2022 by Isma'il Haniyeh a al-Sinwar, a secret meeting with is reported Hassan NasrallahLeader Hezbollah, where attack strategies against were discussed Israel. According to the document, Nasrallah supported the scenario of an all-out war against Israel and undertook to submit the proposal to Khamenei.

“After a deep and prolonged dialogue, the position of Sayyid [Nasrallah] was clear and firm, stating that he supports the first scenario and believes that the data and circumstances demonstrate that it is a realistic scenario that can be achieved, i.e. the end of the existence of Israel".

Attack scenarios and military coordination

The report details three scenarios designed by Hamas for an offensive against Israel.

  1. Great strategic campaign: Coordinated attack from multiple fronts, with full participation of Hezbollah, forces from Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Palestinian militias in Jordan“With Allah’s help and assistance, we will be able to achieve the desired goal.”
  2. Midterm campaign: Attack led by Hamas, with partial participation of Hezbollah and activation of secondary fronts.
  3. Minimum scenarioHamas attacks alone, while Hezbollah remains on alert and allows the use of its military infrastructure in Lebanon.

Furthermore, the documents confirm that Hamas sought to establish a force of 250 fighters in Lebanon to carry out incursions into Israeli territory. “The required number should not be less than 250, trained to the highest level as elite forces,” the report states.

Hamas meeting in Iran in 2023

Between June 19 and 23, 2023, a delegation of Hamas, headed by Isma'il Haniyeh and Saleh al-'Arouri, met with Iranian leaders, including Ali Khamenei. According to a document dated July 6, 2023Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, expressed confidence that the Palestinian resistance could destroy Israel.

“The resistance is stronger than ever, while Israel is weaker than ever,” they wrote.

For his part, the commander of the Revolutionary Guard, Hossein Salamis, he claimed: “We see signs and a possibility of wiping Israel off the map.”

Despite public statements by Hamas and its allies, the documents reveal that these plans were discussed in private meetings and backed up with concrete actions. However, the report also notes that The war in Gaza weakened Hamas and its allies, which could delay the implementation of these plans.

  1. These terrorists should almost be grateful that Israel is investigating their documents, because someone in Israel might believe that deluded belief that they can destroy Israel, but only if they had planned something more inconceivable, like using a nuclear weapon, even at the cost of leaving themselves without a place to live for decades.
