On Wednesday, November 27, an explosion occurred in a vehicle on the outskirts of Ramle, the capital of Israel's Central District.

The accident left two fatalities, a mother and a daughter who are linked to organized crime, which quickly raised suspicions that it was a family settling of scores.

The explosion occurred on Route 200, a busy highway, as multiple vehicles were traveling through the area, and some witnesses said the blast was so strong that they initially thought it was a missile hit.

Magen David Adom emergency services found the victims trapped in the burning vehicle, and despite the efforts of firefighters and rescuers, they were unable to save them.

In September, a similar case in Ramle left four people dead, including three children, and nine injured, sparking a national debate about the growing violence and the role of the authorities.
