Ben Gvir hopes Trump will help promote Palestinian emigration from Gaza

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir said Thursday that he would present US President-elect Donald Trump with a plan to promote the creation of Jewish settlements and the emigration of Palestinians from Gaza.

In an interview published today by the Maariv newspaper, the second most read in the country, Ben Gvir, who lives in an Israeli settlement in Judea (south of the West Bank), said that supporting Trump would be a “logical” and “moral” decision.

"It will also be good for the inhabitants of Gaza who emigrate, voluntarily of course," the minister said.

Last week, ultra-Orthodox Housing Minister Yitzchak Goldknopf visited the border with the enclave alongside settler leaders, including Daniella Weiss – head of the Nachala group, the main driving force behind the establishment of settlements in Gaza – where he defended the construction of these settlements as “retaliation for the Hamas massacre.”

In the interview, recorded for the Maariv podcast, Ben Gvir argued that the only way to defeat Israel’s enemies is when you take territory from them: “When have we ever defeated our enemies?” the minister asked rhetorically. “It’s always when we have taken territory from them. When we liberate – they call it “occupying,” I say liberating – the territory, that is always what hurts them the most.”

The return of the American tycoon to power (he will take office on January 20) has given hope for progress in the project of annexation of the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and the reestablishment of settlements in Gaza to the most radical wing of Benjamin Netanyahu's government, represented by Ben Gvir himself and by the Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich.

Ben Gvir's remarks come shortly after Donald Trump took to social media to promise "hell" in the Middle East if the Israeli hostages still held by the Islamic terrorist group Hamas in Gaza (100 in total, 36 of them dead) are not released before he takes office as president of the United States.

  1. If Ben Gvir were intelligent, which he is not, he would keep his mouth shut and work in silence, he would not make public statements that provoke condemnation against him, actions speak louder than words, and his words do not provoke actions!!!!

  2. BRAVO AND BRAVO LORD BEN GVIR YOU ARE THE LOVE OF THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹 WHAT DOES THE STAR OF DAVID PROTECT YOU? WE PRAY FOR YOU, SUCH A BRAVE MAN FOR THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
