Three Israelis, aged around 50, were killed on the Allenby Bridge, the border crossing between Israel and Jordan, sources from the Magen David Adom (Red Star of David) emergency medical service reported.
According to a preliminary investigation, the terrorist was driving a truck that arrived from Jordan, got out of the vehicle and opened fire with a revolver at Israeli employees at the border crossing on the Jordan River, the dividing line between Jordan and the region of Judea and Samaria (West Bank).
The terrorist was killed.
Police sources said the incident took place at the cargo terminal at the border crossing.
The Israel Defense Forces said the victims of the attack were civilians.
