The Government of Javier Milei expressed its solidarity with Israel, after the impact of a rocket fired from Lebanon that left at least 12 dead and nearly thirty injured, according to official sources.
“The Office of the President expresses its solidarity with the people of Israel, victims of a new terrorist attack against its civilian population,” indicated an official statement from the Argentine Presidency.
According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), this is the deadliest attack against Israeli civilians since the restart of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, following the events of October 7.
The projectile hit a soccer field in the city of Majdal Shams, northern Israel, in the Golan Heights, leaving more than a dozen children dead, as confirmed by the Israeli emergency service Magen David Adom (MDA).
The fall of the rocket also left around thirty people injured, 6 of them in serious condition, 10 slightly injured and several victims with symptoms of anxiety, the MDA report revealed.
“It is these acts of hatred towards humanity that Israel combats every day and that the Argentine Republic repudiates and condemns in the most energetic manner possible,” added the Argentine Government in the document.
The South American country declared the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah a terrorist group in 2019, whom the Israel Defense Forces point to as responsible for launching the rocket, and in July of this year it also added Hamas to this list.
THE IRANIAN PEOPLE ALSO EXPRESS OUR SOLIDARITY WITH THE NOBLE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL, AND WE GIVE CONDOLENCES AND CONDOLENCES TO THE LEGITIMATE STATE OF ISRAEL.
