Every year, the prestigious TIME magazine highlights the best inventions of the year worldwide. It recently published its list of the 200 best inventions of 2024, which includes those developed by 4 startups based in Tel Aviv, and 9 Israelis in total.
This presence confirms the strength of the city's innovative ecosystem and the overall capacity at the national level to develop transformative technologies despite the context.
One of the startups is UVeye, which uses artificial intelligence to detect mechanical problems and improve car safety.
Also included in the ranking was BeeHero, which, faced with the worrying decline in bee populations, developed a hive monitoring technology that provides crucial information on the health and activity of these insects. BeeHero's system improves crop pollination, helping to develop agriculture globally.
Finally, the other two startups from Tel Aviv were Aporia, which offers an advanced platform for monitoring machine learning models, and D-ID, with its generative AI and 3D modeling technology.
The interest in improving the conditions of technology that benefits everyone is an indicator that the development method of the Hebrew community is the correct one to follow, since there is no better investment that generates well-being, something that other societies should do.
